Insulating paper board is made of not bleached sulphatic cellulose with addition of cotton cellulose. It is made by one of two ways: or calendering, or rolling.
The Insulating paper board belongs to group insulating materials of electric machines used for internal isolation and devices, separately or in a combination with others insulating materials. It is isolation of windings of transformers concerning the earthed core or the case, isolation of cores of throttles, rheostats, condensers, cables, electrogenerators, etc. the Greatest distribution to technics of electroisolation has received a combination insulating a cardboard and other products from cellulose (insulating a paper, an electrocardboard, pressboard, etc.) with mineral and transformer oils and pertinex varnishes.

The Insulating paper board "ЭВ" is made on ГОСТ 2824-86, used for work in the air environment at temperature up to 90°C. It is applied to manufacturing protective welding masks, transformers, switches, condensers, insulating linings, and also for grooving isolation of an electric equipment and isolation of details aircraft-, auto-, the tractor electroequipment, etc.
The Insulating paper board of ГОСТ 4194-83 is made by sheets thickness of 0,5 -6,0 mm. Is issued marks АМ, A, Б, В, Г. Used in devices, in transformers, and also in other electric equipment with oil filling at working temperature up to 105°С inclusive. It is intended for manufacturing details of the main isolation of transformers by a pressure up to 750 kV, and also for details leveling and isolation. It is used for manufacturing the stuck together details of transformers of all classes of a pressure, besides it it can be applied to isolation in other electric equipment with oil filling.
