The asbestos rope is made from fibres chrysolite — asbestos with an impurity of a clap and other chemical fibres. It is produced in accordance with GOST 1779-83, also it is known under other trading names: SHAON , an asbestos rope.

   Ropes are produced without a mandrel and cored, differ between itself a different diameter from 0,7 — 8 to 10 — 25 mm and by the method of production. For comfort in the use their issue is produced in bobbins or coils, here middle-weight of coil 10-15 kg.

  At making of ropes cored, as a mandrel use asbestos rope ,a yarn , rove in a few additions or asbestos downy cord of brand of SHAP, entwisted outside of by an asbestos tape , or yarn in a few additions. In this case dimetr cord hesitates scope 10-25mm.

  Asbestos rope is used  as a sealant is in various thermal asms, and also as heat-insulating material of hot pipelines. To dignities it is possible to attribute firmness to oscillation influences. Well showed oneself asbestos rope during work in different workings environments: gas, steam, water, thus maintains a temperature to + 400°С. Recommended working pressure: to 0,1 Mpa. Terms of storage: closed dry apartments.
