 Phenolic paper laminate sheet electrotechnical sheet (GOST 2718-74) is layered plastic which turns out a method of hot pressing of the paper impregnated thermoreactive bonding on the basis of phenol-formaldehyde or epoxy of pitches. It is used as a material for isolation in conditions of normal relative humidity of an environment and in transformer oil at a pressure up to 1000V.  Phenolic paper laminate sheet it is possible is long to maintain at working temperature from-65°С up to +120°С.

There are some versions phenolic paper laminate sheet, they differ among themselves with conditions of operation and structure of which they are made.

 Phenolic paper laminate sheet I: thickness of a leaf from 0,4 up to 50 mm is made from structure on the basis of  phenol-formaldehyde  pitches. Has high mechanical properties, well gives in to machining sharp and drilling. Differs low water absorption and preservation electrical insulating properties at change of humidity. It is intended for work on air, it is recommended to application in low-voltage technics up to 1000V conditions of normal relative humidity of an environment and in transformer oil.

  Phenolic paper laminate sheet V: it is made on the basis of combined epoxy and phenol-formaldehyde pitches, thickness from 1,0 up to 50,0 mm. Besides good mechanical parameters, has excellent electrical insulating properties: high electric durability along layers and low value of a tangent of a corner of dielectric losses. It is used as electrical insulating a material in conditions of normal relative humidity of air and in transformer oil at a pressure from above 1000V and frequency of a current up to 106 Hz.

 Phenolic paper laminate sheet LE (lavsan electrotechnical), it is made on TC 16-503.224-82. Represents the layered pressed material consisting of several layers of a polyester paper, impregnated thermosetting plastics. The range of working temperature at long operation makes from-65°С up to +150°С. It is applied as a material to electroisolation, at work on air in conditions of normal relative humidity, and also in conditions of the raised humidity of 93 % at temperature 40°С.
