Tape pitch

The tape pitch represents cotton polyester a fabric impregnated by structure of bitumen with mineral oil. It is applied to condensation of places of input of cables and wires in connecting clutch, terminal-block boxes of traction engines, for winding the isolated wires in places are viscous, and also for protection against a moisture of the ends of cables and wires.

Thickness 0,8 ± 0,15mm. Width of 85 and 110 mm. External diameter of a roller 160 10mm Electrical durability 2,5 кV/mm.

Average electric durability of a tape not less 2,5кV/mm. The Breaking point of a tape at a stretching not less 100 N/sm. Speed of sticking of a strip of a tape folded double at loading 1N on 1sm width of a tape no more 0,75 m /min.
